My name is Jolie Simone and I’m a creative based in New York City. What do you mean by creative? I know, it’s a vague term. But in my 24 years of writing, acting, reading, photographing, playing, collaging, talking, wandering, it seems to be the only word that has stuck with me.

I’m also a historian, with a special interest in the cultural history of Europe and the United States between 1960-2000. I’ve studied punk, squatting, countercultural movements, cults, and anything else that makes my skin crawl.

Most of all, I love people and always grow from learning how others and the world works.
